CEO, Simmons-Johnson Consulting, LLC

Stephanie Johnson is the founder and CEO of Simmons-Johnson Consulting, LLC. She has over 30 years of accounting and project management experience in industries such as leasing, food/beverage, banking, oil and gas, and federal contracting. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
Stephanie has developed an expertise in auditing, financial compliance, and training in the disaster management industry. She has successfully led teams of auditors in performing operational, financial, and IT systems audits both in the United States, and foreign countries such as Equatorial Guinea, West Africa; Stavanger, Norway; and Aberdeen, Scotland.

Stephanie’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s in Accounting from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Graduate Studies in Finance at LSU, Certificate in Business Programming from UCSD; and a Master’s in Theology from Southern Methodist University in Dallas Texas. She has worked for numerous Fortune 100 and500 companies such as General Dynamics, General Electric, and Marathon Oil Company.

Stephanie has also function as the executive pastor and on the Board of Directors of her church and was on the Board of Directors of the National Society of Black Certified Public Accountants. She currently serves on the Awards Committee of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Stephanie juggles daily being is a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and business owner. Her hobbies include international travels, mentoring, and being a life-long learner.
