Head of Inclusion & Diversity, ResMed

Sarah Hassaine is the Head of the Inclusion & Diversity team at ResMed. She has nine seven years of experience in the D&I space, starting at Amazon where she helped with recruiting and retaining women in Applied Sciences, and then at Qualcomm where she led their conference engagement, affinity group expansion, and provided leadership support. Prior to finding her niche in D&I, Sarah worked in international development supporting democracy development initiatives across the MENA region, and also worked in Riyadh, KSA leading an organization for up-skilling and training ex-pat women. She also was with Deloitte doing business operations consulting for the US Navy with Deloitte while living in Washington, DC. Sarah is very involved in different San Diego initiatives - refugee assimilation efforts and across the border in Baja Mexico with orphanages. She is part of the San Diego Tech Women Coalition and the San Diego Diversity Council. She currently sits on three Boards - the Southwest chapter of Planned Parenthood, the Kim Center of Social Balance and the North San Diego Business Chamber. She obtained her MBA from the Wharton Business School at UPenn, an MA in Public Policy from George Washington University and a BA in International Affairs from UCSD.
