Assistant Dean for Finance & Administration

Frances Nagem Kuhn, '04, is a dedicated higher education leader with a strong background in finance and administration. A proud graduate of the Academy of Our Lady of Peace (OLP) Class of 2004, she currently serves as the Assistant Dean for Finance & Administration in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of San Diego (USD).

Since joining USD in 2008, Ms. Kuhn has held various leadership roles within the Finance Office, including Grants and Contracts Accountant, Manager of Expense Reimbursements and Corporate Card Programs, and Director of Accounts Payable. Her extensive experience in financial operations and strategic planning has been instrumental in supporting the university’s mission.

Ms. Kuhn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), both from Mount St. Mary’s University in Los Angeles. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Leadership Studies at USD’s School of Leadership and Education Sciences, where her research explores leadership and followership dynamics in higher education.

Passionate about empowering women in leadership, Ms. Kuhn is honored to be a panelist at the OLP Women’s Symposium, where she hopes to inspire and uplift the next generation of female leaders.
