Diana Puetz
Vice President of Public Affairs, San Diego Padres
Diana Puetz was promoted to vice president, public affairs in February 2021 after originally joining the Padres in 2016. In her current role, Puetz oversees government relations, public policy and binational community initiatives for the organization.
Prior to joining the Padres, Puetz worked at a public affairs agency where she managed high profile community outreach and advocacy campaigns for several Fortune 500 companies. She has an extensive background in government, having held key legislative and communications roles at the City of San Diego, City of Oceanside and U.S. Senate. Puetz began her career at the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
Puetz is a 2006 graduate of the University of North Texas where she majored in Economics and Political Science. She is fluent in Spanish and serves on the board of directors for the Downtown San Diego Partnership, 2-1-1 San Diego and the East Village Association. Diana lives in Point Loma with her husband, Stephen, and their children Sophia and John Parker.
